The Baltimore Sun has openings for top-notch designers: One to be our lead sports designer and another to take the visual lead on our alt-weekly magazine "b" and design news pages.

Here are some highlights of the job:

-- Work with editors to brainstorm creative ways to tell stories

-- Help coordinate visual planning for daily and advance projects.

-- Create conceptual illustrations to bring centerpiece stories to life

-- Design pages for daily and advance publications

-- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite -- InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator -- very helpful

-- Knowledge of CCI even more helpful

-- Background in journalism a big plus

-- Must be a multi-tasker
