I here ya! I'm trying to keep my creative spirit and make a mark with this paper here.

Thanks Daniel. I've never taken a formal design class. I went to the University of Kansas where I became the Design Editor for our college paper. (I was an English major) After that, I was lucky enough to work for (in my opinion) a great designer, Wes Waston (he's been in the featured pages a couple of times) He helped me develop my designing skills and now i am even more lucky to be at the Des Moines Register where I am getting the chance to work with more talented people.  Plus i think all those years playing tetris did something to my brain and newspaper design is a part of me now.

Your work is very inspirational to me. I'm in envy of your amazing work and talent. Thanks for being part of NPD and sharing with everyone.
