One of 50 or so compare-the-candidates grid dummies. Each grid will be used twice or three times: in five columns of the broadsheet paper (with stories that started a few days ago), and across the full page width of a tabloid voter guide in late October. The charts for the more important contests, like our U.S. Senate race, are customized with more category columns and deeper fields for each candidate. It's built within our CCI system, so reporters can type info into the grids themselves.
