The Chardon High School tragedy happened 60 miles east of here, and after covering it for four days, we decided to run a Sunday centerpiece about the kids that sometimes go unnoticed. They're not the star athletes or the kids in trouble. They're regular kids making good choices. We featured 32 of them from our area, with short stories about each on two open pages inside.
