03 MAY 11 -- For our second day of coverage of the death of Osama bin Laden, I wanted the page to have a more magazine or analysis-type feeling. I saw this AP/White House image and thought it gave that insider vibe. The copy desk was slammed with slotting 5 open or mostly open inside pages, so I wrote the display copy.
