Street Scene was a series we ran in our California section every Monday throughout the summer. Conceived and edited by Mary Vignoles one of our projects editors, the idea was to give the reader a flavor of the different neighborhoods through out Southern California.
I came up with a design that gave the project a consistent look for the reader while highlighting the photography. A different photographer shot a different neighborhood each week.
