Our 'Aperture' page tries to hearken back to the golden era of photography. I keep thinking of Time-Life and the fabulous photos that got me interested in photography properly. I don;t think I've ever read an article in National Geographic except the December 2000 issue with the article by Garrison Keillor on the search for Lake Wobegon.
