About me
Mallory Price is currently a visual journalist and graphic designer at the Gannett Phoenix Design Studio. She has won awards for her news cover designs including first place in Gannett’s Quarterly Awards for “Best Alternative Story Form” and third place for page 1A design by the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association. Mallory also helped launch digital design in the Phoenix Studio with “The Deciders,” an interactive web platform designed to inform voters about key counties in the 2016 election.
Mallory graduated from Arizona State University in May of 2016 with an undergraduate and graduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. For her graduate thesis, Mallory investigated and reported on water sustainability in the Southwest. To report on her findings, she designed and prototyped an interactive iPad application designed to encourage people to learn about sustainability in an engaging and enjoyable way.
