The cover story this week had to do with the problem startup businesses are having in San Antonio. Long leases and high prices are stifling innovation and forcing entrepreneurs to think outside the box. The photo for this cover takes place outside the house that the subject found to base her business from. Carlos tried very hard to get her not to smile, but even though the story has a more serious angle, the cover shot has so much personality that it's hard not to want to read more.
