I turned a no-art strip story into CP with photos and graphics. First, I found the exact plane the story was about, airline and all, on this site called airplane-pictures.net. I emailed the guy who took this particular photo so I could get hi-res and permission to run it. After a few hours, it showed up in my inbox. I then went to American's Web site and got the specs for the turboprop plane and the regional jet, which the turboprop was replacing. Sent those to the graphics guy, and I made the spec comparisons box myself.
I'm really happy with how this turned out. Apparently, so were others, as this just got me an in-house Editor's Choice award for March.
