In advance of the Jackie Robinson biopic, "42", we did a two-story package about the movie and Daytona Beach's part in the Robinson story. His first spring training after signing with the Dodgers, in 1946, was in Daytona Beach. The minor-league field here is called Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
