Hey, look. We made Newseum's top 10. We were also mentioned on Poynter and by Mr. Charles Apple. Way to go, Times-News copy desk. We don't get to run a lot of national news on our front page, but when we do, we try to knock it out of the park. In this case we took a minimalist approach to try and highlight content without relying on photos people were probably viewing on websites all day. We also dropped the color in our flag to ensure a singular focus.
