Now that Houston’s Ted Cruz is out of the race, I thought it’d be time to update the chart I included in a Flashback page a while back. You can see right away the value of a chart: Trump’s victories in five of six states on “Super Tuesday III,” March 15, gave him an unsurmountable lead. Cruz got skunked on March 22, April 5, April 19 and then May 3. Looking at this chart, no wonder he dropped out.
