The tornado package was a collaborative effort by our staff. We took storm data for Arkansas since 1950 and created the graph and chart of fatalities, tornadoes and injuries, county-by-county. Our staff weather guru put together great information for the tornado stories and our staff writers interviewed people who have been through tornadoes and how they've changed their severe-weather preparedness since then.
