Our LA editor, Ron Sylvester, asked me to put together a special ribbon to plug my timeline history of comic strips. I chose Charlie Brown and Pogo because they were two of my favorites. I chose Dick Tracy and Alley Oop because they fit the design and would add some visual variety.
