The reporter's angle of Joey Logano vs. everyone else is what drove this centerpiece design. In lieu of chatter for the rail of other contenders, I put the deck above. I think breaking up the text like that worked pretty well. And the desk did a great job of coming up with the perfect words for both the deck and headline.
