There was an awful lot of buzz out there about executive orders and whether or not President Obama has overstepped his authority by issuing them. I researched the topic going clear back to George Washington. What I learned: a) Obama had issued the fewest number of executive orders since Grover Cleveland, b) Obama had issued less than one-ninth the orders issued by FDR, and c) In all of U.S. history, only two executive orders had ever been overturned by federal courts. I'm very proud of this page. Lots of folks were talking about this topic, but hardly anyone was actually looking into the numbers.
