We’ve had issues with our daily “Extra” PDF editions — especially our Monday Extra, “Personal Finance.” The problem: No art to illustrate the stories. For the Jan. 9 edition, I illustrated nearly every story. This is what I came up with for the center spread, taking a riff from something I saw Josh Bohling do in the Virginian-Pilot, more than a decade ago.
