Here’s one I’ve been wanting to do for a long while. Adolf Hitler hoped to use the 1936 Berlin Olympics to promote his vision of white superiority. But Jesse Owens pretty much spoiled his plans. There are some great factoids here that I didn’t know before: The second-place finisher in the 200m sprint, for example, was Jackie Robinson’s older brother.
