FLASHBACK: PRESIDENTIAL HEALTH

It’s the 60th anniversary of that time Ike Eisenhower was stricken by a heart attack and spent six weeks on the mend. Daily press conferences kept the American public informed as to the condition of the First Patient. Not only did Eisenhower recover, he ran — and won — a second term. I took the opportunity to present a rundown of 18 famous and not-so-famous presidential health issues, from Roosevelt’s Polio to John Adams’ bipolar disorder. I used the Operation game board motif again — I won an SND award with a similar design way back in 2007. Sept. 20, 2015
