After a solid week of John F. Kennedy anniversary stories, I wanted to come back on Monday -- the anniversary of the day he was buried -- with something quiet and reflective. My initial thought was to use the one of John John saluting his casket as it rolled by, but then I remembered the view from just above his gravesite at Arlington. I tore up my photo files looking for this picture: I've shot it a number of times myself. Then, I hunted everywhere for file art I could use. Finally, just in the nick of time, the Associated Press moved this picture by Susan Walsh. It was perfect. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013.
