Portfolio images

By this point, I had been building Focus pages for more than a year. However, I didn't typically get to run a photo quite this large. This meant that my copy blocks had to be a bit shorter -- because I run them a point or two larger -- but it also meant that the visual would just jump off the page and knock the reader out of her chair. Also by this time, I was playing with textures. Note the light blue on the label up top and in the numerals down the left side. That's not blue text -- that's white text, knocked back to 70 percent opacity. May 6, 2014
