By this time, I had built several pages dealing with Civil Rights and I felt like I might be running out of ideas for angles. After some thought, I decided to take that very angle and make it the focal part of the page: Six key moments in the struggle. I feel like I'm at my best when I put together pages like this. Not as visually spectacular as I'd like, but a breezy read on an important topic. I was also quite aware that I'd be coming back in less than two months to do something with Moment No. 6, passage of the Civil Rights Act. May 15, 2014
