Thirty-five years ago, I built a 3D cut-away model of a nuclear power plant for our school's science fair. About the same time, the movie "the China Syndrome" opened. And then? Boom: Three Mile Island happened. Good timing for me: I won a blue ribbon with my project. Now, instead of a model, I combined info from several sources to build a 2D diagram of the partial meltdown. The file art from the AP set the tone for the whole piece. I really enjoyed this one. March 26, 2014
