This is probably our most unusual Focus page presentation so far. Our terrific features writer, Amy Wilson, came across this local college student who thinks he's found Atlantis, by comparing the ancient writings of Plato with Google Earth. I'm quite sure he's done no such thing, but Amy wrote it up so well I agreed to take it onto my page. My editors were kind enough to give me TWO pages this day, so I could put my treatment on both the top of the story as well as the jump. Amy wanted specific visuals to appear at specific points in the story. I think we managed to pull that off. I'd like to try more like this. Nov. 14, 2013.
