So much information. So many numbers, hard-to-spell chemicals, etc. There was some fantastic photography to accompany a truly great story, but this was always going to be the story's main visual, summing up the poisoning of Lake Michigan by these companies. My interview with professor Lois Ongley of Unity College in Maine provided a ton of great information (and one kick-ass quote!). It was critical that the math be absolutely right (1.3 quadrillion gallons of water!). Finally, my favorite colors and the Sears Tower. Interstate is the font. Everything came together to make a sweet, memorable page.
