Local folks are involved in the Juno mission, which is making its first close pass to Jupiter with cameras blazing — for the earlier pass, all electronics had been turned off. I chopped into the graphic I did in July to show just the convoluted path Juno took to get there and the complex orbital maneuvers it’s making before it can start serious study in October.
