An ongoing road project on Houston’s northwest side is causing a major change in a key exit from Loop 610 onto U.S. Highway 290. This is expected to cause major traffic headaches until the public gets used to it. I went to the site with our transportation writer and a photographer to get a better idea of the scope of the change. I’d love to do something much larger that shows the entire project and how its just one step in a multi-step process, but we had neither the time nor the space for that. This little diagram ran on page one, alerting readers to the main thing they’ll need to know Monday.
