Investor-owned utility companies are spending more money on projects designed to add more cheap power to the grid. At the last minute, our business editors yanked some “by the numbers” material and asked me to put together this chart. I built it this odd shape to fill the space that was left so our designer wouldn’t have to rip up the page and start again. The blue color, believe it or not, held it all together, matching the windmill photo.
