Another Friday; another “Seven” entertainment section. On the cover this week: John Mellencamp. He’s looking a bit older than I remember him from his peak, so I hit upon the idea of using a lyric from one of his big hits, “Jack & Diane.” The features editor added the wonderful deck, mentioning his “little ditties.” And to top it all off: A row of Little Pink (Monopoly) Houses. Yeah: We have fun sometimes.
