A fairly routine map showing proposed elevated express lanes that would tower over Loop 610 on the west side of Houston near Uptown and the Galleria. The reason this one excited me: It’s the first time I’ve had an opportunity to draw a map of the area I live in. My apartment complex is between Rice and Sage, just to the right of the “e” in “Ave.” at the bottom left of the map. For what it’s worth, the Chronicle is in the process of moving its offices to our printing plant — which is about where the “W” is in “Westpark” at the bottom of the map. Dec. 17, 2015
