This one was a little difficult for me to get my head around. I prefer to deal with hard numbers — things like percent change drive me crazy. Yet, that’s what was driving this story: The amount of increase between two time periods. I did go back to the reporter a couple of times and asked him to rewrite the two text blurbs.
