Sing Tao Daily PRC 60th Anniversary Special
Phase 1: "Founding of The Nation"

October 1, 2009 was the 60th Anniversary of People’s Republic of China establishment, Sing Tao Daily published a 24-day, total 24-page, 4-phase~6pp per phase supplement to expatiate on the China development. The 4 phases were “Founding of The Nation, The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, Reform, Opening Up Policy”
The first page design of each phase, we used the important personage as the phase opening, the other pages mainly used the character and event as the ground. We used the sketch drawing to unify and integrate the series of supplement.
The series of supplement was an excellent showcase with the distinguishing feature, when you combine the paper in date sequence, the China map and “60” numeral will be appeared, the “60” numeral was a red ribbon, Red is the Chinese traditional jubilant color, symbolizes happiness and joy through and through.
As for more interesting preview, I only posted up the first 5 parts of each phase, which provided a similar visual impact.
