How much has it rained here this year? Rainfall is on pace with that of 2007: The second-wettest year in the history of this city. I charted accumulated rainfall starting Jan. 1 for 2007, this year and normal average. Two record-breaking rain binges in March and one more in mid-April brought us up to where we were on April 21. I had been drawing this up for possible use later in the week, but when a local front centerpiece fell through, I offered it up for the next day. All we’d need is to free up someone to write a brief story. No one was available, however, so I stepped up and did that, too. April 21, 2015
