Des Moines works 'windows' like this McDermott / Creighton refer to an inside story onto their covers regularly, so it was a stretch to pitch it to Sioux Falls, but they went for it. The CP's background was a new technique for me, but a district girls basketball preview seemed to warrant a little something extra.
