A former Springfield Cardinals pitcher was called up to St. Louis, and I was given two file photos to work with. I went ahead and wrote a headline and deck to go with the story, and styled the headline to make it pop a bit. I then added the infobox between that story and another about the Cardinals' farm system. I think using color on the headline and drop cap make it stand out even more, which is very helpful toward making the page less gray (especially with the daily left rail).
