For her giant whooping crane package, Sara pulled together numbers from all over to show the growing size of the flock here in Texas -- efforts to repopulate here started in 1938 -- compared to similar projects in Louisiana, the Rocky Mountains and Florida. The Fish and Wildlife people didn't have all these numbers in one place, so I'm fairly certain no one's ever done this chart this way before.
