I had done an Apollo 11 piece back in July, but the Apollo 12 mission was even more interesting: The spaceship was actually struck by lightning -- twice! -- in the first minute after launch. Yet, the crew survived to make man's second landing on the moon. I took the opportunity to show all six moon landings, recap who did what and show the amount of moon rocks brought back by each mission. The bottom third of this page is a do-over of a graphic I had built at the Virginian-Pilot nearly ten years before.
