This feature was a profile for Labor Day on people in Utah County who have dangerous jobs. While our staff photographers took some excellent portraits of the subjects profiled, none of them really conveyed the on-the-job dangers they face. So I came up with this illustration and typography to help visualize the story. This page won 2nd place Features Design Division B in the 2008 Utah Society of Professional Journalists contest.
