The original idea was for me to build some sort of big timeline to run with a story by freelancer and former features staffer Louis B. Parks. But there are 26 James Bond movies, if you count the two unofficial ones and the one-shot TV adaptation. I didn’t have near enough space for that. Therefore, I opted to build a conventional centerpiece and giving readers a reminder that there have been six “official” Bonds and rating their level of testosterone. I wrote such a small amount of copy that I decided not to give myself a credit on this one. Still, it’s my first Features centerpiece here at the Chronicle. Friday, Nov. 6
