The local district attorney decided people were getting off too easily from DWI cases, so he issued a new edict: No more offers of plea bargains. Sounds like a good idea, right? Well, not so much when you realize this creates a sudden glut of cases that go to trial into an already overloaded court system. Reporter Jessica Priest did a great job of reporting the story and cutting through the confusion. In order to make it clear just how many cases were waiting to move through the court bottleneck, though, we dreamed up this graphic. Note how all the 103 little people spill out of the graphic and into the body of the story itself. I think we made the point. April 26, 2015
