Jews and Christians celebrate holy festivals of deliverance at about the same time this year. The Jews celebrate Passover from April 11 to 18. Christians end their Holy Week celebrating Easter on April 16. Passover is said to be the original model of Easter. Early Christians celebrated both festivals with apostolic authority. Bible scholars have not agreed on when they stopped celebrating Passover.
