I elected to build a special day-before-Memorial-Day edition of my weekly Flashback feature. This one shows the number of Texans killed in action over the past three-quarters of a century: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. For each casualty, I included a little star. Together, the stars make a U.S. flag. I’m rather proud of this one, although I don’t think anyone noticed the page.
