Aldrich Ames doesn't look very scary, but he was a very highly-placed CIA agent just full of secrets. He turned double-agent and sold out 25 Russian agents for two million in cash and another two million for his retirement fund. Which he never collected: He was arrested 20 years ago. I spent three quarters of the page retelling his story and then put thumbnails five more interesting spies -- or accused spies -- at the bottom. I though it was a fun, lively read but I heard only one comment on it via social media: A complaint wondering why this was newsworthy. Sigh...
