The peg here was rather weak -- it was the fifth anniversary of a swine flu outbreak that hit particularly hard here in California -- but given how few pandemics we've actually had here in the U.S., I hoped I could fill this out into a page. I opted for an extreme vertical crop on the AP file art. Man, the hand holding that syringe was HUGE. Maybe not one of my best pages, but it sure caught the eye.
