Superstar reporter and wordsmith Ron Sylvester mentioned to me over lunch that he was doing a story on the giant footprint John Wayne left here in Orange County. We decided to build a focus page to run in conjunction with his story. Ron wrote the words and I chased down the images and built the page. The lead art of the Duke was from our files. I really enjoyed working with Ron. We gotta do this again soon. June 21, 2013.
