I built a number of Focus pages to run after I left the Register. The first of them examined the spaceship shown in the hit movie "Interstellar" and asked the question: Will we ever be able to travel to other star systems? I compared the technology used in the movie with that used in "Star Trek," "Star Wars," "2001: A Space Odyssey" and good, old-fashioned chemical-fueled rocket power.
