HARVEY TRACKING MAPS

I’ve said this before: Hurricane maps were a lot more fun when I had Bob Voros to do them for me. As it is, I assemble the map mid-afternoon, we place it on the page and then I update it from home, trying to get in that 10 pm update. This storm was a particularly difficult one to deal with, because it didn’t move very fast and no one really knew what it would do. We tracked Harvey for five straight days and could have gone on a couple more. But once it cleared out over Houston, we dropped the map from the daily paper. We were happy to let Harvey be someone else’s problem.
