Slack Plaza

The current layout of Slack Plaza and the surrounding area in downtown Charleston, W.Va.. Home to bus shelters and the Transit Mall, the area is often a hotbed of criminal activity. A recent proposal has been approved and construction has begun on converting the area into a "green" space, complete with large lawn area, pond/ice skating rink and concert stage.
