A giant, $60 million renovation of the Capitol dome is publicized by a huge online collection of photos of rust spots, holes and other damage, posted by the office of the Architect of the Capitol. It was a simple matter to pull the best photos and locate them on the vintage renderings, also on that same site. When I tweeted this page, I received a nice tweet in reply form the architect's office. Oct. 28, 2013.
